INSTRUCTORS
Robert Howitt
I am a fully qualified Driving Standards Agency Approved Motorcycle Instructor.
This means I have completed and passed the Cardington 2 day CBT exam and the Cardington Direct Access exam which are the Driving Standards Agencies qualifying tests, required by law to open and run an Authorised Training Body (ATB).
In addition to the qualifying process I have also undergone a full Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check in order to gain entry to the DSA Register of Approved Driving Instructors.
Members of the register should carry their licence to instruct at all times when carrying out paid tuition. In addition to completing the Qualification process I am also fully commited to the DSA program of Continued Professional Development (CPD).
I was first introduced and rode motorbikes in 1973, and have had a love affair with them ever since, taking up riding motorbikes full time in the late 1990's.
Prior to becoming a Motorcycle Instructor I've had a successful career at management levels within mens and ladies fashion, 8 years at R Scott & Co Cirencester, 10 years at Hoopers Cheltenham and Wilmslow and 4 years at Jaeger Wilmslow.
