Thanks Graham for your help during my training, firm but fair and it obviously does the trick, two first time test passes so who could argue with that ? Graham will teach you the correct and safe way to ride a motorcycle and that is exactly what you need !! If you want to learn and can take criticism when it’s needed Graham is the best out there ! When you pass he might even buy you a coffee Thanks again Graham and a special mention to Lisa for all her hard work behind the scenes arranging all the test appointments etc, they couldn’t do it all without her ! This is no run of the mill motor cycle training, this is training given by instructors passionate about what they do and it shows. I took my training with these guys and always felt in very safe experienced hands. The bikes used are well chosen and looked after, training sites are safe and fully equipped. It’s not long before you feel part of this school and even when you pass your coarse you can go onto achieving more with advance courses. I have been riding nearly every day now for 3 years and enjoy it as much now as when I started. I got back into riding after nearly 40 years await from it at 56 and first thought am I to old for this, no you are not. my advise for any one thinking about it do it and do it with these guys. I have just completed my direct access training with RJH. Excellent service provided by Graham my instructor, who taught me all the skills needed to gain first time passes in both mod 1 & 2 in a easy to understand no pressure manner, which made my training both informative and enjoyable. I chose RJH to do my direct access course after a disappointing and unprofessional CBT at another school (which shall remain nameless). I could not have made a better decision. I enjoyed every second of my 15+ hours being taught by Graham at RJH Manchester. The bikes are great quality and clearly well looked after. The facilities are good. Graham is professional and thorough, while remaining friendly and relaxed. The other instructors I met had the same qualities. I had complete trust and confidence in their advice throughout. The atmosphere at RJH is fun, friendly, supportive and respectful - everyone is rooting for everyone else to pass. I passed my Mod 2 this morning, and couldn't be more pleased. I'll be dropping in at RJH now and then to catch up with the folks there, and would love to go back for some advanced classes soon. Highly recommended.read more

There may be other training centres that are cheaper but you really do get what you pay for. I’ve recently done my CBT with the centre. As a completely newbie to bike riding I am really glad I’ve done it in Northwich. The team is very friendly, patient and thorough. They pay 100% attention to every detail and make you focus on safe riding. Roads in the area are amazing hence why it makes it great experience too. I highly recommend!read more

Just completed a ‘Back to Biking’ course with Senior Instructor Sylvia Eager. Could not be more pleased! As a mature rider looking to get back into motorcycling after a 25 year break, Sylvia Eager’s instruction was ‘first class’. With c.45 minutes of slow speed skills in the car park – enough to restore my confidence and to establish respect for a modern 650cc bike - we were out on the roads. Sylvia’s radio commentary was unbelievably good. From safe positioning, awareness and anticipation, Sylvia constantly fed valuable, helpful and reassuring information. I could not imagine that an advanced riding course would have taught me much more than what Sylvia shared during my course. I would not hesitate to recommend Sylvia as a 'first choice' trainer and instructor for anyone wanting to either learn or go back into biking. Ps I am at the back of the queue when it comes to writing reviews – I was so pleased with this course that I needed to find a way to say 'thank you' Sylvia' you were brilliant. Well Done!!read more

Earlier today I experienced my first real taste of becoming a biker. My cbt was an exciting experience and I'm glad I had Ian to instruct me. I felt that Ian input and calming nature helped me to control my nerves. Through out the lesson I was well Informed about what I had to do and all instructions where easy to follow. Ian sense of humour made me feel at ease and helped me cruise through the course, I look forward to my next step and would highly recommend anyone wanting to learn to ride to use RJH wigan training.read more

I had an hour taster session at the Wigan training centre yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Instructor Ian immediately put my mind at ease, as I was a little nervous. He has the right balance of humour and professionalism, which made the whole experience fun and informative. I can't wait to go back for my CBT. Bought a bike through Honda and used their RJH Wigan centre. Passed Mod1 and Mod2 first time through some excellent lessons given. Travelled an hour and half for the lessons and would do it again if needed with Ian Fisher Highly recommend!read more

Had been riding for a year on a 125 and was quite apprehensive of moving up to the bigger bikes. Ian really helped build my confidence very quickly and before I knew it I'd passed my MOD 1 & 2 on first attempts. Am very grateful with how quickly he was able to get me to adapt and I picked up my bike on the same day I passed my MOD 2. Can't recommend these guys enough, especially Ian (who I'm told is the king apparently!) :)read more

Update I passed my my mod 1 and mod2 tests first time thanks to Ian. This just confirms, to me, that his methods work. He has been very supportive throughout the period of training, no question I had was left unexplained and I am really grateful to Ian for his patience and professionalism. I have achieved a life long dream and am looking forward to picking my new bike up in a few days time. Thanks Ian. I attended today (4.07.19) and completed my CBT. Ian, the instructor, had a nice balance of and professionalism. He immediately put everyone at ease and continued this throughout the day. He had good empathy with both young and old (I'm old) and the day went really quickly. It soon became obvious that he had a wealth of knowledge and he shared the important aspects readily and in a way that made it easy to understand for non bikers like myself. I now feel ready for the next step - lessons - then on to taking my test. Thanks Ian for making the experience memorable and fun. If you are looking to get into motorcycling but are worried or hesitant......don't be. Go to RJH in Wigan and you'll be happy that you did. Brian.read more
