Went in for my CBT on Wednesday at Three Sisters (Ashton) was a great day. Our instructor nick explained everything and made learning easy 100% recommend for anyone looking into doing their CBT and their bigger bike test which I will be coming back to do.

I did my CBT with Nick at the Eccles centre last week. As a complete novice to motorcycle driving Nick really did put me at ease and was very patient throughout the day. They've just taught me to ride a bike from absolute scratch. As a lady rider and not what you may describe as a spring chicken... I found it quite hard to take in at first. Everyone who taught me was so patient, skilled at what they do and overall excellent at calming nerves and giving you the... correct skills you need to safely ride and to pass your tests. Well another fantastic day with RJH motorbike training, transition day today with Sylvia. 1:1 training on an absolutely beautiful Honda, what a difference to the 125cc. Earlier today I experienced my first real taste of becoming a biker. My cbt was an exciting experience and I'm glad I had Ian to instruct me. I felt that Ian input and calming nature helped me to control my nerves. Through out the lesson I was well Informed about what I had to do and all... instructions where easy to follow. Had been riding for a year on a 125 and was quite apprehensive of moving up to the bigger bikes. Ian really helped build my confidence very quickly and before I knew it I'd passed my MOD 1 & 2 on first attempts. I can only give glowing, if red cheeked praise to the trainer who was consistently patient in corrective tutoring throughout my stallathon gears conversion lesson in oppressive heat. I have a new found appreciation for the danger of safety gear when the air is almost body temperature already. My... thanks for the use of the corporate hosepipe for a self-soaking after the lethargy set in. Passed my DAS with RJH mainly due to the excellent tuition from Graham. Very patient instructor, very knowledgeable, very calm which really took the edge off it all for me. Did my CBT here, despite it starting to snow, it was a really good experience. Graham did the instruction in the morning and I was taken out on the road by Rob in the afternoon.They are friendly, professional and calm, just what you need when riding on the road with little to no experience can be... daunting. Being vertically challenged at 5 feet 2, I was pleased to see they had a large number of bikes to choose from, (even lowered 'big bikes'). Actually being able to touch the floor for a change took much of the anxiety out for me. I had been to another place in Manchester, put on a bike I didn't feel comfortable on and then not even given the chance to go out on the road. At RJH they don't rush and clearly explain everything, which I hadn't had before. So all in all, I'd say it's the place to go for lessons and training. I will look forward to coming back and passing the full test.read more

Top class riding school, Cracking energy never under any negative pressure to perform and always reassured in what you was doing. 2 months ago I had ridden a motorbike only once in my life and that was a 1 hour taster session with RJH. Today I have passed my MOD2 test first time and have my full license. I could not have done this without the fantastic training RJH have given me. If you are looking at getting your license... then RJH is the place to go. Great facilities to practise in a safe environment. The bikes are all new and you get to train on the same bike each session. Don’t worry if you haven’t got any kit, they provide decent helmets, jackets and gloves. Just make sure you get some decent footwear. I just want to say a massive thanks to Graham for getting me through my tests on my first go. Guided me, advised me, encouraged me and kicked my a@@ when I needed it. I am Autistic and was nervous about starting my motorcycle training but I spoke with Charlie on the phone who was very clear and helpful in getting me booked in.On my first day of training my instructor was Graham and he too was very clear and calm in his instructions. I am a 60-year-old female who was never ridden a motorbike, I’ve always fancied the idea but never had the courage. I decided to have a taster session, at first when I got on the scooter I didn’t think it was for me,I honestly didn’t think I’d have the confidence to get both of my feet off the... ground and ride it.Graham was really patient and encouraged me, he instilled me with the confidence to carry on.After about 20 minutes I was riding round feeling much, much more confident, by the end of the hour I felt 100% different to when I started and much more confident to carry on to the next level. I've been considering getting a bike for a while. After 30 years of driving 4 wheels I've never driven anything with 2 wheels and an engine (well there was that incident with the dodgy wheel nuts, but other than that...). Booked a 1 hour taster session and was able to get a hang of the slow speed... handling and control and into moving up the gears before the end thanks to great, patient tuition from Graham. I did the beginners course between June and July this year as i hadn't ridden a bike before. From start to finish it has been a great experience from Lisa sorting out the bookings, to Graham and Ian supporting me through the CBT, Mod1 and Mod2 training. If you have no or little experience of riding... and want to pass your full test i would highly recommend the beginners course. It's designed to take you from no experience to passing your test and that is exactly what it did. Graham and Ian were great, supportive, strict when they needed to be, and a good laugh. Advanced riding day with Ian.After passing my DAS last year i decided to take some advanced training to up my riding skills to the next level.The day spent with Ian was fantastic and despite the weather forecast looking unfavourable i had one of my best days riding ever.Ian was able to... introduce the advanced skills in a way that made it easy to incorporate into my riding and by mid afternoon i felt my riding had greatly improved with increased vision, awareness. Riding the twisty roads over the moors using the new skills allowed for a much smoother and ultimately faster and safer ride. This is no run of the mill motor cycle training, this is training given by instructors passionate about what they do and it shows. I took my training with these guys and always felt in very safe experienced hands. The bikes used are well chosen and looked after, training sites are safe and fully... equipped. It’s not long before you feel part of this school and even when you pass your coarse you can go onto achieving more with advance courses. I have been riding nearly every day now for 3 years and enjoy it as much now as when I started.I got back into riding after nearly 40 years await from it at 56 and first thought am I to old for this, no you are not. my advise for any one thinking about it do it and do it with these guys. Have just passed my DAS mod 1 and mod 2 with RJH Northwich. 10 days from start to finish. Couldn’t have gone better and I can’t recommend them highly enough.I had been using another local riding school in Northwich with very limited progress. Decided to make the move to RJH and wish I’d done it sooner. Great equipment (brand new Yamaha MT07) which was perfect for me as I’m over 6 foot. All instructors were great - knowledgeable and very friendly. Special mention to Silvia who got me to, and... through, both tests. All I can say is what a totally enjoyable experience from start to finish. I originally did my CBT with Rob and the team then after a short amount of time decided to go the whole hog and do an intensive week or two to complete my direct access. This was passed first time which shows what an amazing group of staff and the wealth of training knowledge are within the RJH fold. I cannot put into words how much I was put at ease throughout the training but more so how SAFE I felt while out on the... road. I had never ridden a bike before!!. Although I passed my test I have not ridden more than 500 miles in 8 years something that I need to remedy next year. Do you do refresher courses????read more

Really enjoyed my CBT with RJH last Saturday, I wasn’t very confident to start with but the team were so patient and kind. I managed to gain more confidence and by the end of my session I was riding quite well. My son did his training there yesterday. I honestly couldn't praise them enough, my son has social anxiety and was nervous but he really enjoyed the whole day and came out with lots of confidence and lots of knowledge and felt very comfortable from the start. From start to finish, I'm so grateful I chose RJH as a bike school. I did my DAS with them. They've been nothing but kind and courteous through out my entire experience with them! Sylvia in particular, couldn't of asked for a better instructor. She makes you feel at ease, she's so friendly, so encouraging and a genuine laugh. One of the best instructors around without a doubt. Patience of a saint to boot lol She'll help you iron out any problems in a nice gentle way. She will really take care... of you on the road, and off. On breaks she treated me to some drinks and snacks! Genuinely appreciated especially when you're mouth is dry from nerves or it's a really hot day :'D. I absolutely loved learning on the z650 too. Very happy to have passed with this school, Sylvia installed so much confidence in me, it's not something I'll forget any time soon. Family vibes for sure. Quite an exciting learning environment with the Three Sisters track on site, go karts and various activities going on, ample parking, good toilet facilities, and really easy to find! All the other trainees I rode with were delightful too and everyone looks out for each other. Looking forward to visiting again! Friendly, teaching without making a person feel stupid. Reassuring to have an instructor my height ( 5' 6")Returned for conversion to 650. Had a taster session on Saturday at RJH Northwich. Was made to feel very welcome from the start with really friendly staff. Sylvia took the session and she was very supportive and provided lots of encouragement and clear instructions to build confidence. Very professional service from start to finish. Myself and my wife both passed our CBT test today thanks to the expert tuition of Jon Howells. The man has the patience of a Saint and the best teaching manner I've seen in a long time. The bikes we used were both well maintained and did the job admirably, the course was in depth and covered all aspects required. All in all it was an awesome experience, great work RJH we can't recommend you highly enough.

Due to Covid 19 I needed to complete my CBT renewal, to finish my mod training, there was only one training group I'd choose and that's RJH training school.Lisa was fab at finding and booking my slot, lucky for me this was at Northwich and with Graham aka the Chief. Dusted the cobwebs off and back to business. Thoroughly enjoyed the session more so the road ride, awesome to be back on two wheels, thanks Graham. See you soon for that mod 2 test : )

Took my CBT with instructor Sylvia. I can honestly say this was a great experience, and was made to feel welcome throughout the whole day. The training facility was good, and plenty of space to get used to the way the bike felt and behaved. There are plenty of facilities on site, including a cafe, accessories shop and a lovely showroom, which you had to pass through to get to the training area. A clever marketing tactic if ever I saw one, but not that I am complaining, this is a tick in the pro... column for me. Thanks to the great mentality and patience of Sylvia and the training that was given, I now feel confident to ride on my own. If I had to critisise anything... Maybe the temperature of the office, at an absolute push, but if you are training to ride a motorcycle, I would put money on people not being too bothered by this. I would recommend training here to anyone, especially as it is a relatively quite spot, with plenty of A and B roads to sink your weight into. Good job guys, keep up the good work. 😃read more

I passed both my Mod1 and Mod2 with Sylvia at RJH Northwich. Sylvia is a brilliant instructor: extremely patient, calm and very helpful with comments and instructions on how to improve your riding whilst always maintaining never ending positivity which really helped to build confidence and to calm nerves when going to the tests. The bikes at Northwich are also spot on: new, light, easy to manoeuvre and the gear indicator was a god send, not to mention the heated grips. There may be other training centres that are cheaper but you really do get what you pay for. I’ve recently done my CBT with the centre. As a completely newbie to bike riding I am really glad I’ve done it in Northwich. The team is very friendly, patient and thorough. Just completed a ‘Back to Biking’ course with Senior Instructor Sylvia Eager. Could not be more pleased! As a mature rider looking to get back into motorcycling after a 25 year break, Sylvia Eager’s instruction was ‘first class’. With c.45 minutes of slow speed skills in the car park – enough to restore my confidence and to establish respect for a modern 650cc bike - we were out on the roads. Sylvia’s radio commentary was unbelievably good. From safe positioning, awareness and... anticipation, Sylvia constantly fed valuable, helpful and reassuring information. I could not imagine that an advanced riding course would have taught me much more than what Sylvia shared during my course. I would not hesitate to recommend Sylvia as a 'first choice' trainer and instructor for anyone wanting to either learn or go back into biking. My mate Chris and I completed our CBT's with RJH Group and I can honestly say that from the initial call with Lisa to the course itself with Rob & Graham, they all make you feel like you have known them for years and put you at complete ease. After having a horrific CBT experience back in 2015 it took me 3 years to get back on a bike and lots of people recommended RJH. After contacting them in December I had my CBT a few days ago. It was BRILLIANT and Rob really put me at ease - I didn't want the day to end. I've booked in for my direct access on the back of it and would wholeheartedly recommend. The motorbikes are new, the equipment is first class and the facilities are great. Honestly, I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else.

I travelled all the way from Leeds to Runcorn to take part in my first geared CBT after researching RJH online and seeing many other schools but having a lack of true care for there students I decided to try RJH, I was training with Nick for all the day on a very hot day! and the standard of training received by Nick was outstanding, I compared it to my driving lessons which is exactly how it should be including Nick explaining thoroughly about my mistakes and why they were caused and how to... rectify them, Outstanding training and the best school around thanks RJH and Thank you Nick!
