Q) Which site did you train with RJH and how was your experience in terms of facilities and treatment on arrival?

A) I did my DAS a couple of years ago at both Blackburn and the old Manchester site. Manchester was long established with kitchen, shop, and practice area. Blackburn was at the Triumph dealer, so Graham and I spent break times ogling nice bikes and drinking the free latte…!

Q) We all know as soon as you pass, you’re eager to get on the road! So, since passing your test with RJH, how many miles have you covered?

A) After passing, I used my bike all the time and toured Northern Ireland and Wales, so I’ve covered about 25k on 3 bikes since passing.

Q) The phrase ‘every day is a school day’ is commonly used – have you learnt and implemented a new technique whilst learning with RJH?

A) I’ve baked in the techniques learnt at RJH to stay safe on the road…I even shoulder check driving cars now!

Q) What’s your favourite motorbike? And/or is there one you have your eyes on?

A) Favourite bike is my current CB1300, But I’m in love with touring now so I’m considering Africa twin and vstrom 1050!

Q) Setting goals is important as it gives you long-term vision and short-term motivation – have you set yourself any for the future?

A) I’ve just got back from Scotland tour – but my goal for 2022 is to do a proper European tour to see the Alps!

Q) And finally, favourite instructor, and why?!

A) It’s got to be Graham. I still hear his voice in my ear whilst riding about!
