Q) Which site did you train with RJH and how was your experience in terms of facilities and treatment on arrival?
A) I loved the whole experience. RJH were great and can’t fault or thank them enough.
I haven’t been on a bike in over 20 years and that was just in the fields.
I managed to pass my theory, CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 all first time – with only 3 faults in total which was all my own doing.
I trained at the Eccles site – the facilities were great and all the staff were friendly and extremely welcoming.
Q) We all know as soon as you pass, you’re eager to get on the road! So, since passing your test with RJH, how many miles have you covered?
A) I only passed my test recently, so I’ve only done around 55 miles so far. I’m still wearing in the tyres and breaking in the engine for 600 miles for its first service.
Q) What’s your favourite motorbike? And/or is there one you have your eyes on?
A) I’m in love with my bike now which is a kawasaki vulcan, but in the future I do like Harley-Davidsons Indians and the Ducati diavel.
Q) Setting goals is important as it gives you long-term vision and short-term motivation – have you set yourself any for the future?
A) I’m hoping to travel round Europe on my bike camping and just out on the open road. That will be once I get some more miles and experience under my belt.
Q) And finally, favourite instructor, and why?!
A) Favourite instructor was Graham. I had him for my high speed lesson and my mod 1 and 2. He was friendly easy to get on with and funny!
